Meet the staff!

JoAnn Carpenter is a native of Fredericksburg and has been a dedicated member of the Willhide team for over fifteen years. As the appointment coordinator, it is JoAnn’s pleasant voice that you hear when you call. JoAnn always has a kind word and sweet smile for everyone.

Linda Davis comes to us from Yale New Haven Hospital where she was Head Dental Assistant. She is a graduate of Eli Whitney Technical School dental assistant program. Linda has been with the practice for over nine years. She brings her experience and quality training with her.

Barbi McNew, our dental hygienist, joins our team with over 25 years of dental experience. She graduated from the University of Louisville Dental Assisting Program and completed her dental hygiene degree in Tyler, Texas, graduating top of her class. She is involved with church activities and enjoys traveling with her husband and children.

Gail Payne, the financial coordinator, has been a team member for nearly four years. A graduate of West Chester State College in Pa., Gail has a background in teaching and has previous experience as a front desk administrator. Gail is well versed in both insurance and financial issues concerning our patients She is active with her church and family and is an avid reader.

Kathy Furrer is a dental assistant with over 25 years of experience. Originally from Long Island, New York, Kathy has been a team member for almost a year. With training in the Invisalign orthodontics treatment, she is a valuable asset to our practice. Kathy is an animal lover who has trained a therapy dog. She and “Rudy” have worked together with the “Spirit Keepers” program.

Natalie Salas, born and raised in Brooklyn, New York has been a dental assistant with Dr. Willhide for about a year. Having twelve years of experience, fluency in both English and Spanish, and a bubbly personality makes Natalie an integral part of our practice. She is married to a police officer and has two active boys.
